On April 27th at the Annual Meetings of the Community Land Trust in the Southern Berkshires and Berkshire Community Land Trust, Sarah Waring, Executive Director of the Center for an Agricultural Economy (CAE) and Matthew Derr, President of Sterling College and board member of CAE, delivered a joint talk entitled “Growing an Agricultural Economy.” Their talk inspired audience members to envision for the Berkshires the type of regenerative food system that is embodied in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.
